Katsu Curry with Rainbow Salad
Welcome to the first cook-along of our Family Food series, with Chef Andrew and a special guest all the way from Compass Group Australia - Chef John who works on oil rigs. Here we are making a Katsu Curry, with a twist...!
We love using lots of fruit and veg, because it's so important to keep our bodies healthy. So Chef Andrew has included onions, garlic, apples, sweet potatoes and carrots in the sauce, making it super fresh and extra delicious, whilst still tasting exactly like a Katsu in our first Family Food cook-along! A really good one for the kids to learn and see how we can include lots of goodness into a curry. Chef Andrew also used stuffing mix as breadcrumbs - something a bit different and often at the back of the cupboard!
