The Christmas holidays may have come to an end, but there's still plenty to look forward to when the new term starts. As we usher in 2026, we’re excited to introduce our refreshed back-to-school menus for primary and secondary schools. From familiar favourites to exciting themed days, there's plenty of variety for students and pupils of all ages.
Lunches that pack a punch
Our school dinners and themed pop-up menus deliver nutritious feel-good food that has all the right ingredients for strong bodies and alert minds. This means everyone gets a healthy, hot meal that supports learning, without the risk of energy dipping mid-afternoon.
We work closely alongside our dietitians, families and children to create wholesome, balanced meals that taste as good as they look. Each meal is packed with all the right nutrients and creatively plated, so children willingly opt for healthier choices.
We know that feeding inquisitive minds isn’t just about what’s on the plate - it’s about making lunchtime the highlight of their day. Our new menus bring excitement to the dining hall, helping your children cultivate a love of good food and healthy eating habits that last long beyond their school years.
Take a look at what we’ve got coming up:
Pizza the Action
Always a firm favourite. Warm pizza pockets filled with ham and mushroom, margherita or pepperoni, served with fajita fries and followed by a chocolate and caramel tiramisu.
Lunar New Year
Cantonese sweet and sour chicken or vegetables, paired with egg noodles or a vegetable spring roll and finished with a golden apple fortune muffin or sticky toffee banana sponge.
Pancake Day
A beloved staple of British cuisine. Classic crêpes served with lemon and sugar or chocolate spread. Flipping delicious!
British Pie Week (Secondary schools)
Spoilt for choice! Chicken and mushroom puff pie, creamy vegetable pie or spiced masala chicken pie. Each dish is served with fluffy mashed potato, garden peas and gravy, with apple pie and custard for dessert.
World Book Day (Primary schools)
Inspired by much-loved children’s books. The Twits’ chicken and vegetable pie or the BFG’s Snozzcumber veggie pie is served with creamy mash, cabbage, carrots and gravy, rounded off with Paddington’s marmalade sponge.

Catering for all
As we introduce our new menus for the term ahead, making sure every child feels safe, supported and included at lunchtime remains our top priority. With more children than ever diagnosed with allergies and dietary restrictions, school caterers must provide options that are not only safe, but also appealing and inclusive.
We know how important it is for parents and carers to feel confident about what their child is being served at school. We have a clear, careful safety process to make sure children with medical dietary requirements get the right meal every time. Children with allergies or intolerances get meals that match the main menu, so everyone can join in the fun of themed days.
Food to flourish
As the new term gets underway, we're thrilled to bring your children nutritious, exciting meals that make lunchtime something they'll look forward to. Because when children eat well, they don't just get through the school day – they flourish! Here's to a brilliant 2026 filled with happy lunchtimes, healthy habits and children who are fuelled and ready to learn.
